John is a shareholder of Davis Grimm Payne & Marra. He also was one of the founders of Davis Grimm Payne & Marra in 1985.

John routinely advocates for his clients in collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, union organizing counter campaigns, election proceedings, unlawful labor practice charges, and strike responses. He also represents clients in discrimination and harassment issues, disability claims, and employment litigation.
